The All New MAHLKÖNIG® Grind-on-Demand Espresso Grinder
MAHLKÖNIG® has been producing hand-made electrical grinders and graters since 1924 and each and every creation of Mahlkonig, undoubtedly reflects the perfect marriage of form and function.
The new Air Version increases total daily output and lowers temperature of ground coffee. A fan at the back of the grinder increases and cools the air circulation around the motor and minimises the heat transmission from the motor to the disc casing. Thereby the ground coffee temperature remains below 50°C even in peak hours which saves the aroma in the cup.
In addition to this lowering of ground coffee temperature, active cooling of the motor increases the maximum daily capacity of the grinder - without overheating the grinder. The power of the fan is adjusted to the temperature of the motor. Thereby the fan’s noise is kept at a minimum.
Construction
Made in Germany, Mahlkonig K30 Vario has a very attractive as well as durable stainless steel casing. The unit measures 21.8" H x 9.5 W x 12.8" D and weighs 28.7 lbs.
Freshest Coffee
Mahlkonig K30 Vario allows you to easily grind directly into the portafilter, so no more stale coffee for you. Plus it alleviates the cleaning chores associated with a dosing chamber. The holder of the port-a-filter is adjustable for all types of espresso machines.
Stepless Grind Adjustment
K30 Vario features stepless grind adjustment allowing the user complete control over the size of the grind.
Built-in Fan
In order to keep the coffee cool the new K30 Vario features a fan. Keeping coffee at optimal temperature is critical for reach cup of coffee.
Cool Grinding
Thanks to its new flow optimized high precision cutting discs that guarantee gentle and cool grinding, thereby preserving the coffee's unique aromatic oils.
Quiet Performance
Another characteristic of the K30 Vario is the quiet performance- this is a grinder you can actually have a conversation near.
Language Programming
The language display can be programmed to use the English/German/ French/ Spanish/Italian language.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The grinder can be disassembled by the user for cleaning/maintenance in under a minute. It allows frequent cleaning and hygienic grinding.
Please Note: All Mahlkonig grinders are tested before they leave the factory, so it’s normal to find coffee grounds in them.
